Meet Valencia Ashley

A Passion Ignited Early Childhood Specialist

Valencia’s journey began over three decades ago with a deep passion for early childhood education. This foundational calling led her to pursue a
Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, setting the stage for a career dedicated to supporting diverse learners and their families.

Academic Excellence & Continuous Growth

Driven by her commitment to advancing educational practices, Valencia earned her Master’s degree in Curriculum & Instruction, followed by an Education Specialist (Ed.S) degree in Special Education. Currently, she is pursuing doctoral studies focusing on Autism Spectrum Disorders and Applied Behavior Analysis, demonstrating her unwavering commitment to lifelong learning.

Comprehensive Expertise

As a Texas Certified Teacher, Principal, and Educational Diagnostician, Valencia has demonstrated exceptional ability to understand and address
diverse student needs across multiple educational settings. Her dual certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and licensure as a Texas Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) showcase her specialized expertise in behavioral intervention and evidence based support strategies.

Specialized Knowledge Areas

Valencia’s expertise extends to literacy support as a Dyslexia Specialist, helping students overcome reading challenges through proven
interventions. Her background as a former Texas Rising Star Assessor and Mentor contributed to quality improvement in early childhood programs statewide. As a Certified Child Care Health Consultant (CCHC) and Early Childhood Specialist, she promotes health, safety, and developmental best practices.

Leadership & Advocacy

Currently serving as a Board Member at Large with the Texas Association for the Education of Young Children (TXAEYC), Valencia continues to influence early childhood education policy and practice at the state level, reflecting her commitment to advancing quality education for all young children throughout Texas.

Every individual has infinite potential waiting to be unlocked through the right pathway. My role is to help discover that unique pathway and provide the evidence-based support needed to achieve meaningful, lasting growth.
